It's been about 11 years since I had LASEK, and after doing it, I thought I should have done it sooner. If you get LASEK, you really don't need to wear lenses, and it's really comfortable. Apparently, you shouldn't wear contact lenses for about 2 weeks before LASEK. I think the first week or so after surgery was hard for me. Still, once you get past that period, a whole new world opens up~ I highly recommend it. However, I did develop dry eye syndrome and I do have nighttime glare/halos.
