3-week review of rhinoplasty at Between Plastic Surgery Clinic (Director Lee Ji-hwan) I had a non-implant nasal bridge + septal cartilage/ear cartilage + short nose correction + bulbous nose correction + smoothing of a step on the nasal dorsum + alar reduction all done at once. For the first week after surgery, there was swelling and bruising, but no major pain, and after the splint was removed, a natural line started to show. I'm now at week 3, so most of the swelling on the nasal dorsum has gone down, and only minor residual swelling remains around the nasal tip and alae. From the side, the nasal line is smooth, and the blunt-looking nasal tip has been refined, so my face looks much more defined. Thanks to the alar reduction effect, the sideways spreading when I smile has also decreased a lot, and many people say my overall proportions have improved. The scar is only visible up close, so it is barely noticeable in daily life. My nasal tip still feels firm and a little numb, but I was told it will settle more naturally with time, so I'm looking forward to that. As of now, what I'm most satisfied with is that it “became prettier without looking obvious, and it is also functionally comfortable.”
