<Before and after surgery> Like in the photos, mine wasn’t severe, but I did have a hump, and by my standards my bulbous nose was pretty bad too, so from the front it looked blunt, and from the side it looked uneven, which always stressed me out. And I guess you could say my nasal tip looked kind of droopy. About 5 years ago, I don’t even remember if it was filler or thread, but anyway I had a procedure once, and it only had a temporary effect. As time passed, the shape actually started to look awkward, and it didn’t last long either. So in the end, after thinking about it over and over, I decided to have surgery!
First, I went for consultations at Miho and other places, but I still wanted to consult at several clinics, so I added a few more from this community and went to those too. Among the clinics I consulted with, Miho felt the most professional, and by my standards, they explained things systematically too. Director Yoon Seok-ho had the longest experience, and I had been looking into customized silicone; he also had many cases, and he accurately understood the straight-to-slightly-curved line I wanted, so I trusted him.
Other clinics I consulted with pushed too aggressively or suggested things that didn’t suit my face shape, but Miho explained that they would create a natural straight-to-slightly-curved line while harmonizing it with my face shape, and I really liked that... And as I said above, I couldn’t ignore the director’s experience.
The surgery was done with Fit Me Nose + septal cartilage + autologous costal cartilage. Using autologous costal cartilage felt burdensome at first but I wanted it to stay firm even as time passed, and they said it would settle in a stable and sturdy way, so I trusted them and went ahead.
I also had correction for the hump nose and bulbous nose, and I’m satisfied because I can clearly see that the parts I used to feel complex about have improved. The swelling hasn’t completely gone down yet, so the finer lines aren’t fully visible, but I can still clearly see a smoother side line than before, so I can feel the change!
The aftercare system was well organized too, and they checked everything carefully. From the perspective of someone who went to consultations at several places, I think having surgery at Miho was the best choice, yeah.
