If anyone reading this is debating between nose filler and surgery, I’d grab onto your pant leg and beg you, please don’t do filler.. Before getting filler, I also did it expecting a pretty nose. I had heard that it could spread, but I did it with the careless thought of, even if it spreads, how much could it spread? I got both the nasal bridge and nasal tip done, and it seriously hurt like crazy. It’s not done under sedation anesthesia, so it really hurt like crazy.. By my standards, filler hurts more than surgery. But the shape does come out pretty, you know? That doesn’t last long. It gradually spread more and more, so I had surgery.. The clinic said I had to dissolve the nose filler before surgery, so I dissolved it, and had surgery a week later. The material used was rib cartilage. Of course, silicone was inserted too. The thing I most wanted to fix was that my nose looked even wider because of the filler. I wanted to narrow the horizontal width, and I wanted a nose with a rounded yet sharp nasal tip. I don’t think my original nose was terribly ugly, but I hated the gap between the shape I wanted and the nose I was born with. Before surgery, I worried a lot about whether to do open or closed rhinoplasty because of the scar, but these days it seems scars are not very visible even with open rhinoplasty, so I did open rhinoplasty. Oh, and after I got my nose done, the swelling went down unevenly on both sides, so I was really anxious about whether it was because I had gotten filler or because the surgery went wrong, but after some time it evened out.. Later, the symmetry on both sides matched. I think it’s better not to be too swayed in the early stage after surgery..
