<Before><Before><Before><After><After><After>Before I started considering double-jaw surgery, my biggest source of stress was my protruding lower jaw. I was told it wasn’t very noticeable from the front, but I was always bothered by how my chin looked like it stuck out sharply in my side profile. When taking photos or talking to people, I would unconsciously try to cover my chin, and I really hated how my chin muscles looked bumpy when I closed my mouth. I avoided side-profile photos altogether. I was told that orthodontic treatment alone would be difficult to fix it, so I eventually started looking into double-jaw surgery, and during that process I learned about Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. It has now been 6 months since I had double-jaw surgery and 2 types of facial contouring surgery (square jaw + chin), and there are definitely many things that have changed. The most noticeable thing is my side profile! Before, my chin protruded forward, giving me a strong and sharp impression, but now it is set back softly and naturally, so even profile photos look much better haha From the front, my jawline has also become more refined, making my overall face shape look balanced, and I often hear that my face looks smaller than before! Friends I met after a long time say I somehow look more polished and that my face looks much softer lol My family also said my impression looks much brighter than before. haha Most of all, I’m really happy that I no longer have to avoid taking photos or hide my side profile because of my protruding lower jaw.. These days, even when I smile naturally and take photos, the results are satisfying, so I’ve gained a lot of confidence!! If there are people like me who have been worrying for a long time because of a protruding lower jaw, I would seriously recommend getting a consultation!!
