So many people were curious, so I’m posting the photos again. It’s been two days since the surgery. On the first day, they put gauze over the part where they took the hair from the back of my head, so it felt really uncomfortable when I slept and it felt tight. Today, the hospital removed all the gauze, so I came back from the theater after going with my bangs down and wearing a mask and watching three movies. I had it done in Busan, and the cost was about 3 million won for the hair transplant alone, and about 1 million won for the cheek augmentation and dimples through a referral, so the total was around 4 million won. I had it done at S behind Lotte Department Store in Seomyeon. Since today is only the second day, I got bruised badly around the eye area too, so I blurred it. They told me never to wear a hat or touch my head, but while doing the dishes I hit it against the sink and bumped it twice, and it hurts ㅠ..ㅠ At first, with scalp hair transplantation, they said the hair transplanted into the forehead would fall out and then grow back again. I’m currently taking about a month off from work. Altogether, the surgery took over 6 hours, and I had IV sedation four times. I’m worried that because I had so much sedation, something might go wrong later, so I’ve been drinking pumpkin juice. I also quit smoking. I originally had a bald spot from a traffic accident when I was 7, and because there wasn’t much elasticity, I think the scar in the back will take a long time to heal. They said they took out a few narrow strips of hair one by one from the middle area of the back of my head and stitched it up, so I’m keeping in mind that there will be a scar, but I really hope the transplanted forehead hair doesn’t fall out. For the cheek augmentation, they made a small cut inside the mouth and inserted a silicone implant, I think, though I don’t know how many millimeters they put in. They told me not to laugh for two weeks. And for the dimples, they said they would stay indented for a month. Luckily I have a bit of cheek fat, so it should be okay. For the cheek augmentation and dimples, for about 3 days I rinse my mouth with the gargle solution the hospital gave me, and after 3 days they told me to brush gently with a baby toothbrush. They also said the stitches would be removed after a week. It seems like I have to go in about three times a week for injections and disinfection. When you have scalp hair transplantation, don’t wear a hat, and go in wearing a hoodie with the hood on. They said baseball caps and flat caps are not allowed either. Taking hair from the back of the scalp didn’t take very long, but when they implanted each strand of the taken hair, that part seemed to take about three hours.
