Dr. Ham Giwon of Gonggan Plastic Surgery is famous for rhinoplasty, but his aesthetic sense looked so good that I became curious about his eye surgeries too!! While watching the YouTube channel he runs, I started to trust him, so I made an appointment (I really did my research online...) The clinic was very clean and had a private atmosphere, and I thought, “So this is why everyone looks for a one-doctor clinic!” The consultation with the manager was comfortable and not pressuring, and above all, the consultation with the doctor was really impressive. His way of speaking was calm, and I liked that he asked questions to understand the eye line I wanted in detail, all the way through. When I told him, “The line on my right eye is prettier,” he kept trying to catch exactly what kind of feeling I meant by “pretty.” In the end, I decided on incision + ptosis correction, and he judged that canthoplasty was not necessary. When I told him I was worried about overcorrection, he reassured me that he would adjust it while directly watching how I opened my eyes. I really trusted him... And most importantly, even though it is a one-doctor clinic, the price was the most reasonable among the clinics where I had consultations! Since this was my first incision surgery, there was a little difference in swelling between the two sides at first, but it is gradually settling naturally and symmetrically. Compared with the buried suture method, the double eyelid line is much clearer and has more depth, so I’m satisfied. This time I changed from an in-out line to a semi-out line, and I definitely like it because it gives a more glamorous impression. Once the swelling goes down more, I think the front part of the line will look much more natural too. Since it was done by incision, it also feels reassuring that I don’t have to worry about it coming undone again. Around the one-month mark, I was a little worried because of the difference in swelling, but the doctor confidently told me it would get better, so I trusted him and waited, and now I’m seeing results that I’m really satisfied with!!
