I didn’t get anything like extra eyelid creases at all after my first surgery, but after revision surgery, sometimes one side gets an extra crease only when I open my eyes in the morning. It goes away right away if I blink once or twice, but is this happening because the double eyelid is about to come undone? It started happening recently, and if I count over a month, I think it happened about three or four times. It’s fine normally. Should I get aftercare for this..? During my first surgery, I had ptosis correction and fat removal, and during the revision I only redid the double eyelid surgery. It’s been almost 1 year since the revision.
쩡땀이 I went for revision consultations because of extra eyelid creases, and they told me, “Why didn’t you come earlier…” For me, it used to appear only sometimes when I was tired and then go away, but starting a few years ago it stopped going away, so I started thinking about revision… Go back to the clinic
익명 [@쩡땀이] I went to the clinic within about 2 weeks after the extra crease appeared, and they said that since it’s fine normally, we should watch it for now, and if it gets worse, they’d pinch it again with the non-incisional buried-suture method; I had an incisional procedure, so I’m wondering if doing buried sutures in this state would even mean anything. My aftercare period is almost over soon, so all kinds of thoughts are coming up, like maybe they just don’t want to do it for me
쩡땀이 [@] Since 2 weeks really isn’t that long, I think you could wait just a little… But if it keeps happening, definitely go get it checked!! At the clinic I went to for a consultation, they said extra creases above the eye are wrinkles too, so the deeper they get, the harder they are to get rid of
익명 [@쩡땀이] No, I mean I went to the clinic within 2 weeks of it appearing, and it’s been over 2 months since the extra creases started appearing.. I don’t have much aftercare time left, so I’m planning to go when the weather gets cooler

Eye Side Effects@eye-sideeffectAug 26 I had in-place epicanthoplasty; will I need to have it incised?
