Finally, my surgery review from Daejeon.. it’s long.. haha

=Surgery day.. From the day before surgery, I didn’t eat a single meal... I barely slept, tossed and turned, and only got 4 hours of sleep before going... I don’t live in Daejeon... so I rode there in my boyfriend’s car Since the surgery was scheduled for 2 o’clock, we hurried over... As soon as I went in... they told me to wash my face, so I did my cleansing.. Then I got some kind of antibiotic shot first... (it hurts a lot.. I’m usually a total baby about pain, too ㅜㅜ) Then I took front, back, and side photos with the doctor... I kept making weird expressions, so they kept taking them over and over.. haha And then I consulted with the doctor about the shape of my nose.. I wanted it a bit higher, but my boyfriend came in and said he didn’t like a high one and preferred something natural.. (I knew this would happen, so I told him to stay outside, but... hehe) I said I liked it higher..... I regret not being able to explain that part clearly ㅜ..ㅜ Oh, and the doctor... said he had seen that community, right? He said after the surgery I should write a good review and all~~ Doctor, don’t worry haha if my nose really turns out pretty........... Even if you don’t say it, I’ll spread the word everywhere and tell everyone! hehe Still, the doctor really gave me confidence, so... at least... I calmed down a little... And then I went straight into the operating room... From the moment I entered the operating room, I was absolutely terrified............. I’m usually the type who’s really scared of IV needles... When they put the IV in, I was already so tense and it hurt a lot..... and then they stuck the needle deep into my arm... That antibiotic reaction shot or whatever it was hurt so much haha After that they disinfected my face and said they were taking cartilage from my left ear, so they stuck tape all over my ear.... and they strapped my arms and legs down tight................ Wow, that was the first time I’d ever felt that kind of fear.........ㅋㅋㅋ I kept thinking, I have to survive this............ and all sorts of other thoughts........ Then I fell asleep...... Maybe because the surgery took so long...... I woke up toward the end while I was still under sedation...... I think I said something to the doctor while still half under sedation...... I definitely said something like I’d woken up from the anesthesia and asked them to put some more in... I think nobody answered me at that moment.... haha Looking back now, I’m not sure if it was a dream or if I had really woken up from the anesthesia It didn’t hurt, but I was so scared that I think I cried through the surgery.. When they were stitching me up, I could see the thread moving back and forth..... ugh.... It was really awful and scary...... I think I even saw everything with my eyes half-open when they were putting in something strange..... hehe The doctor definitely said something like, “I’ve never seen a patient like this before...” after it was over.... I guess I kept talking while I was still under the anesthesia.........ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I’m fuzzy on whether it was a dream or what...... haha But... I really don’t think I could ever do nose surgery again............. I’ve had surgery under general anesthesia before....... but when I woke up from sedation during surgery just thinking about that feeling....................ㅎㅎㅎ It started a little after 2:30... and ended around 7 o’clock... Dr. Yang said it took a long time because he had to correct the crooked part right away after the surgery.. But he said the nose surgery turned out beautifully... and that one sentence was so reassuring... hehe My nose was a bit crooked, so...... It took quite a while to straighten that out. I was lying in the recovery room when my boyfriend held my hand, and I suddenly felt sad for no reason... and I was about to cry, but I’d seen somewhere before.. haha I thought crying would make the swelling twice as bad, so........ I held it in.......... While he was waiting outside, my boyfriend said I was screaming in pain in the operating room....... haha I don’t remember it at all... So my boyfriend said he didn’t know what to do outside, and if there had been even one person waiting outside for consultation... they must have been so shocked..........ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I wanted to go home quickly... so I stayed in the recovery room for about 10 minutes.. and then headed home. Normally it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.. but my boyfriend drove very carefully because he was worried my nose might move and hurt, so it took more than 2 hours to get there haha When I got home, he bought me rice porridge, and I was somehow hungry too..... with my upper lip all swollen... I finished an entire bowl of porridge.. haha After eating I took painkillers and some medicine so I wouldn’t have a runny nose... After taking the medicine.. my nose definitely didn’t hurt anymore........... but my ear kept throbbing and aching... haha Anyway, I’m so grateful to my boyfriend for taking such good care of me...... haha He said this is the last time, and if I say I’m getting plastic surgery one more time, he’ll really be mad at me hahaㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Without realizing it in the car, I slept soundly for 2 hours... Then I went to bed to rest a bit, but I couldn’t sleep............ Because of my ear, I can’t sleep any more ㅜ..ㅜ It hurts even if I move a little. Even now, while writing this review.. my nose is bleeding nonstop....... haha I heard the gauze in my nose is........ really painful, but now that it’s in my nose, I can bear it well enough.. I just hope it came out as high as I wanted ㅜ....ㅜ The doctor seems to like a very natural style...... I hope it still looks natural, but not too natural....... hehe =Surgery next day On the day of surgery... I wasn’t very uncomfortable because of the gauze.. but after I finally fell asleep with difficulty and woke up....... my lips were completely dry, my throat was dry too... it was really no joke -0-..... People who keep gauze in for 4 days are amazing.. My mouth was all dry too...... my eyes and mouth were completely swollen... my double eyelids were all gone too... I was so swollen that it looked like I’d had double eyelid surgery.. it was hard to even open my eyes ㅜ...ㅜ Anyway.. I left for the hospital early.. as soon as I got there, I got a shot in my butt and a shot in my arm.... I’m really scared of injections ㅜ..ㅜ And then they started disinfecting me... it was pure terror itself... When they took the gauze out the feeling was so unpleasant...... other people say when the gauze comes out it feels refreshing but stings...... I hated it so much I don’t even want to imagine it.ㅜ..ㅜ They were disinfecting my nose and ear... and they said I still had to do that about 3 more times... it was so horrifying... People who’ve had nose surgery several times.. I really think I’d admire them...... hehe Among cosmetic surgeries, nose surgery seems like the most painful haha My mouth was so swollen that even when I ate a piece of bread I had to tear off just a tiny bite and eat it... haha While eating bread, I suddenly thought wow, nose surgery is already this hard to eat through haha how hard must jaw surgery be for people who had that.. I was thinking all that to myself haha When I opened my mouth, my nose pulled and it hurt so much.. haha After the disinfection was done... the doctor really kindly explained all sorts of things to me, but because I was in pain and scared, I couldn’t hear a single word clearly haha My boyfriend came back and listened to everything for me haha The only thing I remember the doctor saying was, “You turned out pretty well. You’ll become much prettier.” haha Oh, and the doctor said... it didn’t matter whether it was Sunday or not.. if my nose hurt a lot... or if I was uncomfortable because of the cast, I should definitely call the phone number that connects to the mobile phone... hehe This place doesn’t end with surgery... even after surgery... they explain things in much more detail, and really take care of you... I was in pain so I couldn’t say much, but I was so thankful.. hehe After that I came home... and my boyfriend took out the gauze that had been placed outside after the hospital disinfection and disinfected me again, and I almost cried so much....... I kept thinking about how I felt when they took it out at the hospital.. I was so scared of the gauze that I kept arguing I couldn’t take it out.. then in the end I took it out while crying buckets... Ah, if I had been alone... I keep thinking about what would have happened after surgery .. haha I’m the type who’s really scared of seeing blood and things like that.. The place where they removed the ear cartilage hurts, and it’s already starting to itch a little, but I can’t do anything about it haha I can only brush my teeth and gargle a little at a time haha I look like a total mess haha I thought breathing would be easier once the gauze came out, but whether it’s out or not... it’s about the same ㅜㅜ Ah, I’m watching Infinite Challenge right now hahaㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Infinite Challenge is so funㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ I can’t even laugh properly hahaㅎㅎㅎㅎ I hope the cast comes off quickly... and the swelling goes down... Or at least I hope the eye swelling goes down quickly so I can open my eyes properly haha
