For my revision, I got an estimate and made a reservation for surgery with autologous costal cartilage, but honestly it feels burdensome. Right now, the septal cartilage and ear cartilage used in my first surgery are still in my nose. If I get another consultation and estimate at the same hospital in the direction of reusing those for the revision, would the estimate go down? Because they wouldn’t be harvesting autologous costal cartilage? But the hospital I went to seems specialized in surgery with autologous costal cartilage I’m wondering if I need to look again.
