Revision surgery consultation. I didn’t wait long and had the consultation right away I liked that it didn’t feel overly steeped in surgery After the consultation, I felt like the director’s intention was to use autologous costal cartilage and do it like Last surgery For now, my nose had previously used septal cartilage and silicone The director recommended autologous costal cartilage and silicone Considering it was autologous costal cartilage, I thought the price was on the cheaper side with the August promotion included, and if there really is no revision surgery, it seemed worth trying After the consultation, there was no pressure to pay a reservation deposit, and nothing was uncomfortable The consultation was also sufficient. The reason I excluded it from my final decision was that costal cartilage would need to be used, but they didn’t take an X-ray and said they would just harvest it from the 8th to 9th ribs on the surgery day. They said usually there are no issues with those ribs, so it’s okay But it was done under sedation anesthesia, so I was scared I think it was even more so because the day before, another hospital said they would proceed safely under general anesthesia..ㅠㅠ Of course, I looked it up and found that the possibility of rib calcification progressing in a healthy adult is low, and that if the lower rib area is harvested, major complications are uncommon But I think I felt that if my body was unusual or I was sensitive to pain and flinched during sedation, another problem could occur Also, I was in a situation where I needed to recover quickly, and if rib cartilage is harvested, movement can be restricted because of the chest area For these reasons, regardless of the director’s trustworthiness or skill, I decided to go for a consultation at the next hospital.
