I had surgery on 3/20 To start with the conclusion, I’m satisfied with the surgical result, so I just revealed the clinic name.. lol The director and the consultant were both fine For now, I’ll just write down what I’m feeling as it is, without much order
Shape) It’s not exactly one hun-dred!!!! percent how I wanted it, but it definitely got prettier than before, and it’s been refined well to suit my facial proportions, so I’m satisfied. I’m happy that I don’t have to reduce my jaw in photos with Photoshop anymoreㅠ
Sensation) Other areas are okay.. I think the front chin is taking the longest to come back. The sensation in my front chin is still vague, but it’s definitely coming back as time passes, so I’m not too worried
Since they did peel everything back, when I touched it, it hurt more than usual before surgery? Like, there was this feeling that pain sensitivity throughout my whole chin/jaw had become way too heightened. It’s still a bit like that now, but this is gradually improving too
When I press the front chin, it feels soft and squishy. I don’t know if it’s swelling or remaining flesh after shaving the chin(!). I think I’ll only know after more time passes
I still have tightness around the teeth and tightness at the incision sites!!!! So mouth-opening exercises have become a habit lol Especially when I yawn and stuff, my lower teeth feel insanely tight, so I can’t really yawn widely
Um and.... sometimes the flesh around my jaw? the lower cheek area? tingles along the jawline, but it gets a bit better when I wear the compression band or massage it with my hands, so I’m still wearing the compression band from time to time these days
The swelling hasn’t gone down dramatically compared to the 1-month mark, but I can see that it has gone down Especially the double-chin swelling!! A lot of that disappeared lol At first I thought it was sagging skin and I don’t know how depressed I was.... There’s still a little left now, but compared to the 1-month mark, it’s gotten much better Of course, real skin sagging could come later, though?
What else was there? I can’t thinkㅠ Honestly, the good parts after doing it are bigger... but the human mind.. the bad things feel bigger and bigger, you know.. hehe Anyway, I wrote this very honestly
One-line summary: My jaw/chin area still isn’t completely comfortableㅠㅠ But I don’t think there’s any problem, and I got prettier than before
