I’m someone who had surgery 2 years ago with Director B.J.H. at the current DB Plastic Surgery (male) At first, I started consultations thinking that my nose was already on the higher side and that I only wanted to reduce the nostril width. But the recommendations kept increasing, and they suggested surgery for a deviated nose, implant insertion, and using septal cartilage for the nasal tip, saying they were confident. They also said my basic nose height was good and that my skin was favorable for plastic surgery. So, not knowing anything, I suddenly went ahead with the surgery. What’s important here is that from the beginning, I really emphasized over and over that I wanted the plastic surgery to be very subtle and natural-looking. But after the surgery, I couldn’t even see the surgeon who operated on me, and I hated that my nose looked way too flashy. Then I found out that they had inserted as much as 5 mm of silicone. As for the deviated nose, before surgery it was so slight that I could barely feel that my nose was crooked, but after surgery it got worse. And when I told them it was crooked, they just pressed it firmly with their hand and that was it. The next time, I said again that it was still crooked, but they said it would be fine once the swelling went down, so I thought maybe that was the case, but of course nothing changed. After surgery, my face swelled severely (to the point that I couldn’t open my eyes), and until a little over 2 months after surgery, because of inflammatory reactions, my nose kept swelling and the nasal bridge would swell up badly, so the area between my eyebrows would become like a log, and this kept repeating. Then I went to the hospital for a follow-up, and they said that the doctor in charge was no longer there. But I thought that kind of thing seemed common at large hospitals, so there was nothing I could do.. Honestly, I regret it so much, and I keep wondering why I ever got rhinoplasty.. I thought it was my fault for not knowing anything, not going around to many consultations, and just suddenly getting surgery. It’s been about 2 years now, and recently the area between my eyebrows developed an inflammatory reaction again and swelled up.. Now I just want to stop being stressed and live normally, free from concerns about inflammation. I’m looking for a hospital for revision surgery and full removal.. At the hospital he opened now, they keep recommending and advertising autologous costal cartilage, but for me, they had already put 5 mm of silicone into an already high nose, and turned someone who wanted things done naturally, with as little touching as possible, into this. Every time I see it, I’m just dumbfounded.. It may not be my place to say this, but.. I really think it’s better to choose a place where the director personally handles most of the treatment and consultations.. I barely ever saw the director, from before the surgery until after it was over.
