Surgical method: osteotomy, autologous cartilage for the nasal tip, and the nasal dorsum was high, so it was shaved down slightly. (No implant used.) It's day 9 after surgery, and the bones on both sides of the nasal bridge are uneven. (1st photo: it doesn't show externally, but when I touch it...) The left side of the nose comes down smoothly, but the right nasal bone protrudes slightly. Bruising also remains only on the right side. Also.. if you look at the nasal dorsum in the 2nd photo, the area connecting the dorsum to the nasal ala is very slightly sunken. The boundary line is just slightly visible. Is this normal? Is it because only a few days have passed since surgery, or was the surgery done incorrectly? I'm so worried. I was so worried that on day 10... I had a consultation with the director, and he said the right nasal bone was indeed protruding, then pressed it firmly with his hand to shape it. He said since it's only 10 days after surgery, it's still soft, and if we don't set it now, I'd need revision surgery... Is there no problem with the nose even if he shapes it like this? After he adjusted it, both sides did become similar. But only on the right side of my nose, I also have a feeling like something like mucus keeps going down into my throat, and I don't know what this is. Will it be okay? And I asked about the very slight depression on the nasal dorsum too.. He said it will be okay later once it settles.. Is that right? Please leave some replies.
