It has been almost about 10 years since I had LASEK. Right after surgery, my vision was over 1.5, and now there is some difference between my left and right eyes, but it is around 1.0. I am very satisfied with the improvement in vision and the fact that it has been maintained. But from right after surgery, my dry eye syndrome became severe, and there has been no improvement up to now If I do not put in eye ointment or eye drops before sleeping, when I open my eyes in the morning, it feels like the eyelids that were closed all night are being torn. Surgical techniques and side effects may have improved now, but I think it would be good to think carefully about all surgeries, weigh the pros and cons, and decide! Personally, it is uncomfortable every morning, but the fact that my vision improved is very convenient, so even if I went back, I think I would still have the surgery!
