My upturned nose was originally really severe So I had surgery in 2017, but within a year the silicone didn’t suit me and I developed contracture At the time, the contracture was so severe that you could practically see all my nostrils, so I had revision surgery at the hospital where I’d had the surgery.. Back then, they removed all the silicone and used ear cartilage + donated costal cartilage + donated dermis, so as time passed, my nostril show became severe again.. the cartilage started protruding, and the skin on the bridge of my nose even caved in and sank So I really felt like my face was completely ruined, my appearance-related anxiety got worse, and I decided to get a second revision I went to more than 10 consultations Especially because my nose had already had contracture once, everywhere I consulted said it fell into the difficult-surgery category.. Since I hoped this would be my truly final surgery, I went into consultations already thinking about autologous costal cartilage, which has a lower risk of side effects. When you go around to consultations, you definitely end up with a first choice in your mind, but the last place I consulted was somewhere I went right before the clinic closed, and even then the consultant was incredibly kind during the consultation. The director also consulted with me even though it was past his leaving time, and he suggested proceeding with surgery using autologous costal cartilage + autologous dermis. The design and aftercare, too, were exactly in the direction I wanted, neither lacking nor excessive, so the place I had already set as my first choice got pushed down to second, and I just paid the deposit right away and left. Because autologous costal cartilage had to be harvested, I had to undergo general anesthesia, so I got blood tests and X-rays done, and since there were no abnormalities, I had the surgery. But seriously even after a second revision, this pain never becomes familiar,,,⭐️ Still, if you just endure exactly 3 days, it becomes bearable But because my constitution has poor blood circulation I really struggled, and they gave me IV fluids every day to help blood circulation At the hospital where I had surgery before, even when I bled all night and got taken to the ER, they did basically nothing,, so seeing how thoroughly this place handled aftercare compared with other hospitals really put me at ease I had the splint removed at week 1, and now I’m entering week 3. The lifted nostrils and upturned nose don’t show at all anymore, and the protruding cartilage and the hollowed, sunken bridge have all improved, so my nose line seriously looks fairy-like.. It’s so pretty that I keep looking in the mirror huhuh The doctor is Director Jeong Jin-wook at DL Plastic Surgery, and I’m thinking of treating him like my second father hahaha This was truly paid for with my own money, so I wrote the review without holding back.
