I have pretty severe nasal congestion, especially on the left side.. People with a deviated septum will know, when your nose is blocked, breathing is uncomfortable, and your head kind of feels heavy and achy too I wanted to improve the function while also refining the shape of my nose, so I looked up a few places that are good at functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, went around for consultations, and had surgery at the place whose reviews I liked the most I had always been really dissatisfied with the shape of my nose.. My nose was long, had a hump, and was bulbous, so it was a total mess But I told them that if the nasal bridge was too high, it would feel too much, so I wanted it to look natural, and that I wanted the nasal tip improved in a rounded way, not pointy. I explained all the parts I wanted, and they understood everything perfectly and consulted with me according to what I wanted. As time passed after functional rhinoplasty, breathing became really comfortable. The nasal congestion also got better, so my quality of life just went up and up haha So this is what it feels like to smell things well~ I didn’t have a huge desire for a higher nasal bridge, so I had rhinoplasty without an implant, preserving my current nasal bridge, and the nasal tip turned out well according to my needs, not too pointy hahaha Since even the hump was corrected, I definitely look neater, and my overall impression looks much better...... Since I can breathe comfortably and I also like the shape of my nose, I’m so happy.. I guess this is why people get functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty together
