Review after jaw and cheekbone surgery~

I had it done in November, so I think it’s been about a month and a week now lol Now the swelling has gone down a lot, so I’m so excited every day and just live smiling lol The first day after surgery was really hard. But when I think about it now, I don’t even remember it lol Since I was wrapped in bandages, it felt stuffy, I couldn’t lie down properly, I had to keep spitting out phlegm, and my jaw area throbbed a little lol But it didn’t hurt a lot. They gave me a pain-control injection lol And swelling, well.. rather than the first day of surgery, it started swelling from the second day, and I think the third day was the most swollen. Then it started going down around the 4th day. Once the swelling really started going down, it went down fast. Even when it had been a month, when I rubbed my face while washing, my cheeks still felt puffy. They looked a bit puffy in the mirror too, so when they were even more tight and swollen before, I actually didn’t think much of it, but as it got close to a month, I started worrying, thinking, is all the swelling already gone? Is this the result? But the hospital said that at one month it’s just about the original face size, and that the effect becomes visible around 3 months, so whenever it bothered me, I thought of those words and told myself I would get prettier lol Now it’s been over a month and about another week has passed, and during that one week the swelling went down a lot again, so now I feel so excited because I seem much slimmer and prettier! Amazingly, I change day by day.. To the point that I can say life feels worth living lol Even when I was swollen, the swelling went down unevenly, so I had a very, very slight doubt like, did I trust the doctor too much? But the hospital also said that can definitely happen during the swelling-reduction process, and every time I went in, they were certain I would gradually become slimmer and prettier, so I relaxed and waited. In the end, it was worth the wait If you just choose the right hospital, and choose a truly trustworthy and safe hospital and director, I think jaw and cheekbone surgery isn’t that different from eye or nose surgery. You don’t need to worry about the wounds inside the mouth either. Before surgery, I also worried a lot about cheek sagging, and about whether the surgery might go wrong or whether a problem might happen during anesthesia. At that time too, people who had had surgery said you just need to choose the hospital well, and now I understand what that means lol A lot of people say that if you have cheekbone and jaw surgery, the chance of cheek sagging is high, so honestly I told the hospital director and consultant that I was very worried about cheek sagging. The director guaranteed that he would make sure cheek sagging wouldn’t happen, so I think that’s why I felt at ease and decided on surgery. They say you feel different before and after going through something; before surgery, I came into this community every day, but after surgery I definitely come in less often lol I think it’s partly because even though this community has more members, the atmosphere isn’t like before anymore lol Anyway, I’m posting this because before surgery I had so many worries and felt so desperate, and I want it to help people like my past self lol Before surgery, my forehead also looked unattractive, so I thought about having forehead surgery too, but after my cheekbones and jawline became prettier, my forehead is at least presentable now, even if not pretty lol And the most important thing is that I gained confidence I was really stressed every day, had an appearance complex, and hated and avoided meeting people For those whose jaw and cheekbones are severe and who feel like they’ll never escape the trap of this complex for the rest of their lives, in one way I think doing it even a day younger is good because recovery is faster. It’s not a surgery you can say has no aftereffects at all, and it’s not a minor surgery either, so please think carefully!
