I had 5 mm inserted with forehead Silit on the 14th, and today I took off the bandage. On the first day I seemed not to be very swollen and felt fine, so when I commented on someone's post, I said that after forehead surgery the headache is pretty bad but I wasn't nauseous at all. I ate really well until evening, then while sleeping I suddenly started feeling chilly in the middle of the night... I went straight to the bathroom and think I threw up more than 10 times until morning. In the end there was nothing left in my stomach, so it kept coming out as water ㅠ.ㅠ Then from the next day I got better and was able to eat well, but my face swelled up like steamed bread and my eyes were covered in dark red bruises like a panda's... I did not look human at all. The headache was bad, but what was even worse was the unbearable stuffiness and pain from the bandage wrapped tightly around my forehead. After five nightmare-like days, I finally went to the hospital this morning to have the bandage removed. ㅠ Since it's summer and I couldn't wash my hair for 5 days, it got greasy... anyway, after taking off the bandage I went to the hair salon the hospital called, had my hair washed and nicely blow-dried, and I feel uplifted now. There are still staples-like metal pins all over my head... I guess I'll have to endure them until next week. My forehead is still slightly raised above my eyebrows, so I look a bit like a troublemaker potato, but forehead surgery is originally a battle against swelling, so I'll be patient and wait. Right. When I wrote comments back then, someone asked me too, and they said the vomiting and difficulty are not because of the forehead itself, but because you get that reaction if you're sensitive to antibiotics. For reference, I had aristoplasty 7 months ago and nose surgery 6 months ago, and back then too, before the sedation anesthesia, when they gave me antibiotics I was completely fine, and I'd never had anything like this before. But I heard that for the forehead they use a different kind of medicine from nose surgery or aristoplasty, and usually about 1 out of 10 people have a reaction like mine ㅠ Anyway, until next week when they remove the wire, I'll keep watching to see whether blood or fluid collects, but looking at my slightly raised forehead, I think I look younger, and my cheekbones too (I do have a bit of prominent cheekbones) look relatively less angled, which is so fascinating that I keep looking at myself in the mirror from different angles and even gently press to see whether blood or fluid has collected, and I end up amusing myself^^. I'll post photos next week after they take out the wires, around the day of surgery, day 5, and around day 14. I think it'll be easier to compare once more of the swelling has gone down. I used to just come into the community every day to get information, but now I've finally written a review myself. This year I think I'll stop at just the forehead and focus on taking care of my health. ^^* Oh, and people who had forehead surgery... is it normal for the forehead or inside of the head to feel like insects are slowly crawling around? Or like warm water is gently seeping in? ㅠ
