Ahh. It’s already almost been a month since I had my nose done. I decided on surgery with silicone 6 mm + AlloDerm for the nasal tip, and after entering the operating room, anesthesia + surgery only took 35 minutes;; They said it ended quickly because there was no osteotomy or alar reduction or anything like that.. But it was just over so quickly.. huh?? I even thought, aren’t they doing this too carelessly?ㅠㅠ Does everyone usually finish this quickly??;; Two days after surgery, (because the doctor said my condition looked good) they removed the tape, and I came home feeling excited!!! This is where the disaster began..................... My nasal tip was severely red....... It was red enough that I could probably pull Santa’s sleighㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ When I asked the clinic, they said it was because my skin is thin? My skin was thin, so they couldn’t use cartilage and used AlloDerm instead, sob sob (In my next life, I will definitely be born with thick skin...) For a week, I went to the clinic every single day and diligently disinfected it, and out of 24 hours a day, I seriously did cold compresses for 20 hours, and slept sitting up for 4 hours;;; (because I heard swelling doesn’t go down well if you sleep a lot or lie down) I lived completely isolated from alcohol and cigarettes!!!! But no matter how I looked at it this way and that, I felt like my nose was leaning to the left.. I thought it was probably because the swelling was going down unevenly.. and then after ten days!!! I felt this really wasn’t right, so I went to the clinic.. The doctor said, “I’m sorry.” (I think it leaned to one side because they removed the tape too earlyㅠㅠ) And then he grabbed my nose, and oh my god, he started adjusting it!!!!!ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ My nose hurt even if it was touched lightly, but he held it with his hand and worked on moving it to the centerㅠㅠㅠㅠ People who haven’t experienced this pain truly don’t know, sob sobㅠㅠㅠㅠ And it’s not like it just moves to the center because you try to center it; it had already settled slightly off to one side, so the silicone kept running away to the left... Thanks to that, I spent two days just holding onto my nose;; For reference, because my nose had been moved around in all sorts of ways, the swelling lasted so, so longㅠㅠ It was only around 20 days after surgery that I could go outside??? Especially the swelling between my eyebrows was so severe that looking in the mirror annoyed me..ㅠㅠ In the end, the nasal bridge did return to the center, but the nasal tip is still very slightly~~~ leaning. Well, unless you look at it seriously, you can’t really tell, so I’m just going to leave it alone;; Ah, and as for the redness of the nasal tip, it disappeared around the 15th day, but now that it’s been a month, it suddenly became a little reddish again........ Ah...........damn............ㅠㅠ (If it doesn’t return to normal within 2-3 days, I’m going back to the clinicㅠㅠ) Still, looking at the result now that a month has passed! People around me say so too.. and overall, I’m satisfied~!!! (Though I still have some fear of side effectsㅋ) They say AlloDerm gets absorbed a little, and I just hope it really is absorbed only ‘a little,’ just as they sayㅋ Ah, and is it normal to have throbbing or stinging even a month after surgery like this? Every once in a while, when it throbs or stings, I get so scared thinking of side effectsㅋㅋ Nasal bridge leaning + nasal tip redness + glabella swelling + scar tissue inside the nose, I went through the triple combo plus bonus scar tissue, so if inflammation develops too, seriously I... will clutch the back of my neckㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
