I got my stitches removed. The ones near my hairline... and the area under my ear where they made the incision when removing fat under my chin..... They were originally supposed to be removed tomorrow, but they said the wound area was clean so it would be okay, and removed them today. I still don't have much sensation when I touch here and there, and some areas hurt..... I'm still very swollen.... but still, now I look a bit human.... haha I started washing my face yesterday..... and from tomorrow I can wash my hair too, so I'm excited. Hearing that my swelling has gone down faster than other people's makes me even more excited for no reason, and I keep getting impatient, hoping the remaining swelling will hurry up and disappear..... haha Honestly, the past week or so..... was like hell. Even when I slept, I couldn't sleep comfortably, and even when I watched TV, my eyes were so swollen I couldn't see well. Because of the compression band, it felt tight and suffocating all the way to my neck, and the compression band pressed on the implant inserted for my receding chin, so I kept feeling a throbbing pain like all my lower teeth were going to fall out.... Even when I ate, it didn't feel like eating...... But now it's bearable. ㅠㅠ People around me are already saying they can feel that my facial contour is completely different... so I'm really, really excited and feel it was worth it, and I'm looking forward to how it will look once all the swelling is gone..... hahaha Because my face has lifted so tightly from the face lifting, I'm thinking of postponing the fat grafting to the nasolabial area and under the eyes that I was going to do in 3 weeks until around next spring.... Along with that, I think it would be better to decide about the forehead around then too, after seeing my face shape..... For people who have a really big complex about their facial shape, I think this is truly a surgery worth trying. It's only day 6, but I'm already so thrilled with my own satisfaction I feel like I could die. I always vaguely wanted to do it, but because it is such a major surgery and costs a lot, it might have ended as just a wish..... but I really think I did well to make up my mind at that one moment. I was just excited after getting my stitches removed today, so I rambled on. ^^ I'll upload photos later when the swelling goes down a bit more~!
