These are the only photos I have. Up to the third photo is before, and the fourth and fifth photos are now, one month later. Today is exactly day 32. I was supposed to raise it by 5 mm and do both the bridge and tip, and I had surgery planning for a ski-slope nose. From right after it was done, I was worried because it didn’t look very high, and after the splint was removed, there was basically no difference. Since I really had almost no nasal bridge to begin with, it did go up by a very subtle amount, but you have to look closely to notice it. Even friends seeing me for the first time a month after surgery (friends who know I had nose surgery) ask where on earth I had surgery, and ask if I really had surgery. My mom and dad both say the same ㅠㅠ I paid a lot of money but it doesn’t show, so I called and asked why my nose shape is the same as before when all the swelling has gone down. They asked who said that, told me not to believe my friends, and said the surgery was done by a doctor, not by my friends. They said the swelling hasn’t completely gone down yet, that minor swelling remains, and that I must just wait. It’s not crooked or uneven - the nostrils are uneven, but inside the larger nostril right now there is a very large amount of scar tissue, so I think that’s why they look uneven. They said they’ll remove that with an injection, so I’m not too worried about it - and it’s not an ugly-looking nose, so I don’t plan to get revision surgery. It’s just the same as my old nose. I swelled much more than other people and had such a hard time during the recovery period that I can’t even think about revision surgery. But I had this surgery because I wanted to make a bit of an image change, and it looks the same as before, so honestly -_- I’m just annoyed. I spent money on a perfectly fine nose, didn’t even become prettier, and now I have to live carefully for the rest of my life, that’s what I mean.
