9-Day Review of Epicanthoplasty + Incisional Double Eyelid Surgery (Busan)

I was going to post this a month after surgery, but a lot of the swelling has already gone down, so I’m just posting now. The epicanthoplasty area is still red and has a little bit of scabbing! While doing online research, I filtered out anything that seemed like ads, events, or brokers, so there were barely any places left to visit in person Among the few places I looked into, I liked this place the most, so I chose it! The reasons I decided were the doctor’s experience, and although there weren’t many reviews, there wasn’t really anything bad, and it seemed like they make the results naturally glamorous, so I decided to trust them and go ahead. Also, I had something like a skin tag? or wart on my eyelid line It had stressed me out my whole life, but they said they would remove it during the surgery, so I was really grateful. The doctor isn’t exactly the friendly type, but that doesn’t mean they’re unkind! I had it done without any complaints. Sensitive people might feel offended, maybe..? Since I can’t wear makeup for a month after surgery I got an eyelash perm about 2 weeks before the surgery! I think it was a good decision.. On the day of surgery, I had almost no swelling or bruising, and from day 2 to day 5 the swelling got worse and became super tight and puffy. There was a little bruising under the epicanthoplasty area, but it disappeared quickly. From the afternoon of day 5, the tight, puffy feeling gradually became less intense, and the swelling went down day by day. From day 6 until now, the bruising disappeared and the swelling has been going down a lot. They say pumpkin juice has no scientific meaning, so I didn’t bother drinking it. I took the medicine the clinic gave me, applied ointment thinly.. and did cold compresses well, so I wasn’t as stressed about the swelling as I expected! Also, I deliberately didn’t look in the mirror often! Oh, I had the stitches removed on day 5.. and it hurt like crazyㅡㅡ;; The double eyelid line was at least tolerable, but when they removed the epicanthoplasty stitches.. ah....... I never want to have that done again. I teared up a little. Anyway, even though this was my first surgery, I’m really, really satisfied Rather than absolutely needing my eyes to become pretty, I just wanted them to get bigger than my old eyes so I think it was successful. I’ll take the photos down later.. My eyes aren’t pretty eyes I hope everyone’s eye surgery turns out beautifully.
