Who would read a man’s nose review, but I’m writing this to snack on some points. Honestly, when I got my nose done, I thought it would 100% be silicone, but surprisingly this was rhinoplasty with “no implant,” without silicone. It doesn’t show in photos, but I had a nose where the hump could be felt, so the doctor suggested osteotomy, and I did it. Also, as you can see, my alar base was horizontally wide, so I reduced it together. I heard somewhere that once you do alar reduction, you can’t go back, so you have to be careful. I thought about it on my own for a while, but when I looked in the mirror, mine was definitely a nose that needed reduction If I didn’t do it, it would’ve been better not to have surgery at all. Anyway, nothing was inserted into the nasal bridge, only the hump was worked on, and after reducing the alar base and slightly raising the nasal tip with septal cartilage, it changed so much that I wondered if this was really based on my original nose. Want to hear something surprising? My face is on the broad side, but after getting my nose done, people asked if I lost weight. In other words, because the nose looks longer and slimmer, the face also looks slimmer. The part I wanted most from the nose surgery was the side profile, and I think it turned out well with a clean, sharp angle. Other places recommended silicone, and some also said to fill the hump step-off with ear cartilage and raise the nasal tip more, but I guess this much suits my face. As for pain, swelling, and bruising, I figured they would go away on their own, so I wasn’t too worried, but for me, not being able to smoke was the most painful. It felt like torture. Whenever my hand reached for a cigarette, I searched necrosis photos on Naver. It gave me an intense wake-up call.
