Breast Surgery Reviews

3-day review of breast surgery with Dr. Park at ㅅㅇㅇ

(D-2) Two days before surgery, I got a call from the clinic manager and received various instructions. I also had to remove my nails and pedicure, so I quickly took them off and got everything ready! (Surgery day, Day 1) I started fasting at midnight and couldn't even drink water! I took the bus at 6:30 a.m. and left, and I went after applying no body lotion, shaving my underarms, and wearing a button-up top. When I arrived at the clinic, things went in order: paying for the surgery, changing clothes, taking photos, filling out consent forms, and getting the surgery explanation. They also told me that I would have regular checkups at 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, and 3 months. They started anesthesia around 10:30, and when I came to, the surgery was already over and I was wearing a supportive bra! The manager, doctor, and nurses checked on me from time to time and told me to take deep breaths, so I did my best. Moving around actually felt less painful, but even staying still still hurt a bit. Still, they said the surgery went well, so I'm satisfied! I was discharged around 3:30 p.m. They carefully gave me medicine, extra gauze, tape, nipple patches, constipation medicine, and supplements. On the taxi ride home, every bump hurt, but even though I live in the provinces, I made it safely on my own by taking a taxi and then a bus. (Day 2) On the first day, I kept waking up because I was trying to sleep sitting up, and I kept sliding down too. But by the second day, the pain was clearly much better. It's okay if I stay still; it only throbs when I move! My face and stomach are still very swollen, but I'm diligently drinking pumpkin juice. I could do a little housework like washing dishes, and I even tried washing my hair by bending my head forward, which was more manageable than I expected. (Day 3) Finally, I managed to sleep well. But maybe because I slept sitting up for a long time, my lower back and chest felt stiff. The stomach swelling is still there, and I hadn't had a bowel movement since the surgery day, so I felt bloated... but finally, that morning, everything was cleared out nicely!
