<Left is before surgery, right is an evening photo on day 5>It's now day 5 since I had revision surgery with the non-incisional method, and my upper eyelids are so severely swollen. Every clinic I consulted with said my upper eyelid skin was thin and that I didn't have fat there I'm worried because the upper eyelid area is so severely swollen. During my first surgery, I barely had any swelling. Is it worse because this is a revision? It won't stay like this without going down, right?
익명 5 days... ㅡㅡ
익명 [@] For real......
i냥이 [@] If it's only been 5 days, was I being way too impatient? Sigh.. since I keep looking in the mirror and checking, it feels like I'm spiraling a bit.. I think I was even more worried because it's my first time seeing my upper eyelids swollen like that
얌 Upper eyelid fullness isn't swelling though...
얌 [@] Usually when the line goes up and the distance between the eye and eyebrow gets closer, the upper eyelid can bulge, and if the skin is thick, the upper eyelid bulge can appear. There probably is some swelling too. But it won't go back 100% exactly like before. Still, let's wait for now. There's no real method to do anything about that
이만타 Upper eyelid swelling is right It will gradually go down as the swelling subsides
i냥이 [@] Wow, this is exactly it!! It's exactly like this right now My eyebrows are also much closer than before I hope it's swelling and goes down
i냥이 [@] Please, I really hope it's just simple swelling and goes down. After seeing the comment above, I got even more anxious...
이만타 [@i냥이] The space between the eyebrows looking closer is unavoidable because when doing double eyelid surgery, the line was set higher than before + because of swelling. My upper eyelids were swollen too, but they gradually got okay
i냥이 [@이만타] I see. Since you said yours got okay, I feel a bit relieved too Thank you so much for explaining in detail!!
성형은자신감 In my view, it looks like swelling
i냥이 [@성형은자신감] I think I did well posting this. I kept checking in the mirror and felt like I was spiraling, but reading the comments makes me feel a bit relieved. Thank you!
얌 [@] Yeah, of course it will get better than now!! But just know that it can't become 100% exactly the same as before!!
i냥이 [@] Okay!! Thank you
콈니 [@i냥이] I’m like that too, do you think it’s swelling? Damn
i냥이 [@콈니] For now, today was my first checkup, so I went and got swelling laser treatment and a swelling injection. Comparing photos from day 5 and today, day 9, it does seem to have gone down a little. Please, I hope for both of us it’s just simple swelling and goes down quickly
잉녕 How is it now? Mine is like this on only one side right now, so I’m wondering if this is really swelling
i냥이 [@잉녕] I think it’s getting better little by little. I thought the upper eyelid swelling was still the same, but 3 days ago, at week 3, I tried wearing contacts and was surprised. At week 2, I wore contacts for the first time after double eyelid surgery, and my eyes alone looked so intense that it was really overwhelming But once it reached 3 weeks, that had eased a lot. I guess I couldn’t feel the difference because I look in the mirror every day. There’s still plenty of swelling, but compared with week 2, I look human now. How long has it been since you had double eyelid surgery?
콈니 [@i냥이] Hey, did the short upper eyelid distance gradually come down?
i냥이 [@콈니] It hasn’t come down enough for me to feel it yet, so I’m not sure. It seems like there might be a slight change, but it’s so minimal that I’m just thinking time will be the medicine But today is day 24, and I tried wearing contacts for the third time; for the first time, I felt like my eyes matched my face well. I think week 2 was the hardest point for me. Swelling really feels like a battle of patience, especially the upper eyelids.. When will it go down..
잉녕 [@i냥이] I’m exactly 2 weeks now! But I feel like it may have gone down a little, so I’m going to watch it a bit more,, Since yours was a revision, maybe you had more swelling? I’m glad it’s getting better little by little!
빙방벙봉 How is it now, by any chance?? Mine is like that too, so I’m worried. It hasn’t been long since surgery, though..
i냥이 [@빙방벙봉] I checked this late Now it’s definitely better than back then! I guess time was the answer. If you haven’t been long out of surgery either, how about walking as much as possible for now to help reduce the swelling
