Eye Re-Surgery

In-person consultation review with Director ㄱㅈㅎ at ㄴㅅㅎ

I’ve been posting reviews whenever I get bored and remember things, so the order is all over the place, but ㄴㅅㅎ Plastic Surgery was the very first place I visited out of the 7 revision-surgery consultations!! I’m leaving a review hoping it helps someone... I went with the feeling of just getting a consultation to lightly understand my condition, so I didn’t designate a director, and it turned out to be Director ㄱㅈㅎ Since it was my first clinic consultation for revision surgery, I didn’t know much, and because of that I didn’t have many questions, so the consultation time was the shortest And it was May at the time, and maybe the director had a cold, because he was coughing and didn’t seem to be in very good condition... And he was kind, but somehow it felt a bit soulless...? lol Still, I think he honestly explained how the surgery would be done and answered a few things I was curious about At ㄴㅅㅎ too, when I told him the strange points I had heard while having surgery, the director also seemed to find it strange and asked if I had it done in Seoul... lololol And maybe because the line had been set too high and the ptosis correction was also in such an insufficient state that it looked strange, later he asked the clinic name... lololololololol (I felt like, wow, I really am in a botched state... At that time I was honestly so lost and worried) As for lowering the line, even when he held the line it wasn’t very visible and simulation wasn’t possible, so I asked how many mm the line would be lowered, and he said it would be exact during surgery, then measured with a ruler and said it needed to be lowered by 4-5 mm... lol I really can’t forget the shock when I heard it had to be lowered by 4-5 mm... And the clinic where I had my first surgery said I needed fat grafting, so when I asked whether it looked necessary, he explained that it didn’t seem necessary right now, but since it would be a two-line excision, if later there were symptoms like a double crease forming or hollowing, it might become necessary while monitoring the progress! I asked whether fat grafting is injected or inserted through an incision, and Director ㄱㅈㅎ said he injects it. When I asked if injecting it doesn’t carry a risk of blindness, he said, “Fat grafting?” So I just asked very specifically whether, if it’s injected incorrectly and enters a blood vessel and blocks it, there isn’t a risk of blindness Then he said, “Ah~ that’s a very rare side effect~” and rather told me that fillers in other areas can occasionally carry a risk of blindness. But at that point I decided not to choose this clinic... In any case, eyelid fat grafting very rarely but definitely can carry a risk of blindness, yet when I first asked, his reaction was like there wasn’t one... At that time the director seemed to have cold symptoms and looked tired, and since it was my first consultation I also knew less, so I think that made me even less likely to choose the clinic After the director consultation, when I met the consultant, she told me the AS period was 3 years! For incisional revision surgery (two-line excision) + ptosis correction + fat repositioning, the price was in the mid-to-high 3 million won range after various discounts! I remember feeling relieved because eye revision surgery cost less than I expected And as I was about to just go home, since it was in the same building, the place I went to for a walk-in consultation without a reservation was ㅂㄴㄴ... Anyone here curious about the ㅂㄴㄴ review can refer to the one I posted before!
