First of all, my friend had it done here and it turned out well, prettily, so my expectations were really high. On the day, I went about an hour and a half earlier than my consultation reservation time. (My previous consultation ended early, so I was just going to go to the hospital and wait.) I told the desk staff my name and was checking in, but their attitude was so bad that I felt unpleasant. When I said I had come a bit early while checking in, they said, “Yes, you’ll have to wait,” so I thought, well, that much is natural, and sat down leisurely, reading a magazine and waiting. Had I waited about 20 minutes? The same desk staff who checked me in earlier was standing by the CT scan area and kept calling someone, so I looked over wondering what it was. (I had AirPods in and was reading a magazine, so I didn’t know, and since my appointment time was still far away, I never thought they would be calling me.) I took out my AirPods and looked, and they were calling my name, so I said, “Yes?” Then they said, “Please come this way,” but it made me feel really bad. What, were they calling a friend at a playground? Usually at other hospitals, they just quietly come over to the patient and say they’ll do a CT scan and explain it, so it was very unpleasant. During the CT scan too, they asked me to remove my necklace or piercings. I didn’t have a necklace, so that didn’t matter, but for the piercings, I seriously have never removed them myself, so I don’t know how to put them in or take them out. (I always had it done at a shop.) At other hospitals, I explained this reason and asked for understanding, and since I didn’t have a lot of piercings, they said it would probably be okay and just took the scan. But the desk staff acted like, “Why can’t you take them out?” and stared at me, saying the scan image could come out broken and I might have to retake it. No, so what am I supposed to do? Were they telling me to go to a shop and get them removed now or what? Anyway, since it wasn’t the desk staff’s concern, I got the scan and waited for the consultation. Even though I had gone much earlier than my reservation time, it was good that the consultation started early, but maybe they were very busy, because although the consultant was kind, she spoke so fast it was like I was about to give her a Show Me the Money pass necklace. During the consultation with the director too, I was satisfied because it felt professional, but the director looked extremely tired. So somehow I didn’t feel that much trust..? Also, during the consultation with the director, the consultation room door opened really forcefully and someone came in, so I was really startled, and the consultant was standing behind me. (If I think of it as for understanding the consultation content, it’s okay, but I did feel the action was a bit rough.) Afterward, I heard the surgery cost and plan explained again by the consultant, and since they said they don’t separately send the consultation details afterward, I took a photo of what the consultant had written on the pad and that was the end. It was a hospital I had very high expectations for, but compared with the 30,000 won consultation fee, overall it felt somewhat disappointing because of the desk staff’s unkindness (it felt like they were playing school-bully at the hospital), the consultant’s attitude of speaking too hastily and seeming rough in behavior, and the director looking too tired. Since the director is very famous, and someone around me actually had a good result, I thought it might be okay to trust them and proceed, but overall the disappointing parts were too big (I felt like if I went ahead, I’d have to keep going through these unpleasant experiences), so I removed them from my list... Anyway, they also weren’t available on the date I wanted.. As much as my expectations were high, the disappointment feels too big
