I had my first consultation here. The consultant said septal cartilage and ear cartilage would probably be enough, but the director said it seemed like costal cartilage would need to be used.. At other places, they said it was enough to leave only 10 mm of septal cartilage on each side, but here they said 20 mm should be left on each side, so I found it a bit questionable. I don't know whether they recommend using costal cartilage because they are trying to make a big change and therefore need a lot of cartilage, or whether my septal cartilage is really small ㅠ For reference, the other 2 places both said septal cartilage could be used. The director gave the consultation professionally and attentively, and after the consultation, I was able to understand my nose better. But since they recommended using costal cartilage, which I had not expected at all, I think it will just end with the consultation.
