Ha.. I lived with my nose for such a long time, and even though I didn't love it, before rhinoplasty I often heard that I was pretty. Then I happened to get a good opportunity to have nose surgery, and since so many people get rhinoplasty these days, I was careless and thought most places would probably do a good job. So I had a nose consultation, booked right away, and got surgery.. First of all, during the consultation I wanted a straight-to-slightly-curved line, but after rhinoplasty it came out as a straight line, and my nose looks long, making my midface look long too. My friends said, “Was your nose always long? After rhinoplasty your nose looks long”.. Fine, even if I give them that much... But my nose is crooked.. At first after surgery I was bleeding, so I had gauze on, and for 1-2 days I was just busy changing the gauze. Even after getting the nasal packing removed, I still bled, so around the evening of day 3 I took off the gauze and started looking at my nose. When I looked from below with my head tilted up, my nose was crooked.. But when I went to get the splint removed at 1 week, my nose looked crooked even from the front, and the doctor also noticed it was crooked. He said he would correct it manually with pressure and that we should keep the splint on for another week, so I had the splint on for a total of 2 weeks.. And after removing the splint and looking, it was still crooked... Ha At first I thought it must be swelling and just waited for it to get better, but it has already been two and a half months.. Maybe because the swelling is going down as time passes, the crookedness is even more visible. My parents also said it looked crooked from the first time they saw me after the splint came off My boyfriend and people around me all say my nose is crooked... I'm so stressed. This isn't just my imagination, right? It really is crooked, right? I'm 2.5 months post-rhinoplasty, is there any chance it could be because of swelling??? Even if I get aftercare/revision correction, I have to wait until 6 months, but the crooked nose is so visible that I'm embarrassed to go outside and it's stressing me out In the photo, because I covered parts and zoomed in, it might be hard to see, but when someone else takes a picture of me, anyone can see my nose is crooked..;;;;;; ha If I get revision/AS for this, can a crooked nose actually be corrected well??? Why didn't it turn out well from the first surgery.... This was really my first cosmetic surgery, so I slept sitting up for a month, and because I was worried the support might weaken before the splint came off, I didn't even let a drop of water touch it and didn't wash properly;;; I never imagined I would need revision surgery.. Ha The hospital I went to has many doctors, so if I get revision, I would probably have it done by a different doctor. Are there cases where people got revision by another doctor at the same hospital and it turned out well??? Every single day I'm just looking at my nose and getting stressed.......ㅏ
