I was literally someone whose lower belly was like a mountain. If I got a little thinner, I looked slim overall, but only the area below my waist bulged out, so when I sat down it folded, when I lay down it rose upward, and when I stood up only my belly looked like it stuck out At that point, it felt less like part of my body and more like an independent being living separately. I did diet in my own way too, but maybe because I’m the type who loves bread, my abdomen wouldn’t budge at all. Even my boyfriend opposed the surgery, saying he liked my soft belly fat. My boyfriend opposed it, but I thought, “My belly is not your emotional-regulation cushion,” and just had the surgery. But. Af.ter. That. He suddenly likes it even more, saying I look slim. Men…^^ I have low blood pressure, so I’m more sensitive about anesthesia and recovery, so when choosing a hospital, I looked at the director’s experience, reviews, and whether the anesthesia would be administered by an anesthesiology specialist. That way I could have surgery with peace of mind.. haha I’m now 3 months post-op. Seriously, when your belly is gone, you gain this much confidence. Slacks, ribbed dresses, shirts, and the abdominal shapewear I used to always tuck myself into before are now gathering dust.
