Among those who had closed rhinoplasty, for anyone who had no sensation or dulled sensation in the nasal ala after surgery.. around when did sensation in the nasal tip return to the point that it felt like your own flesh when you touched it, and what were the symptoms like as it came back? I had closed rhinoplasty with ear cartilage on the nasal tip and binding, then removed it after 11 days, and it has just been over two months since removal. Since the first surgery, sensation in my right nasal ala has been dulled. At first I think I couldn’t feel it even when I touched it.. now I can tell when I touch it, but it feels like I’m touching someone else’s flesh. If I press it with a needle or fingernail, I do feel pain..
