I had my eyes and nose done a few years ago..Even before surgery, I heard that I was pretty, but after surgery I gained so much confidence that life really became easier because of my appearance.. But I had my nose done cheaply with L-shaped silicone, and although there were no particular side effects..I was dissatisfied because it looked too natural,, So three months ago I went to a clinic in Apgujeong that specializes in costal cartilage, had a consultation..and foolishly had surgery right away..The result was that the columella went completely inward, and the columellar tissue that used to cover the space between my nostrils disappeared, so I got an upturned nose...My columella was already retracted, and on top of that they did something called mouth-line correction or whatever, so my philtrum became extremely long..And I don't know what they put into my small nose, but the middle is so bulging that it pulls my alae upward, making it look very obvious that I had a nose job.. I hated it so much that I had revision surgery after only two weeks..but the result was the same.. I thought this clinic would not work, so..I happened to see a clinic online that claimed to specialize in nostril-lowering surgery and went there..Because my job requires my appearance to be important, I did not have the confidence to wait 6 months..They said it was 3.6 million won for that....ㅎㅎ For some reason the doctor looked a bit shady, but I was not in a position to be picky..?Also the before-and-after photos were quite dramatic, so I trusted them and did it..The result was that nothing changed, and instead of reducing the vertical nostril, they reduced the horizontal width..ㅎㅎI only got scar tissue as a bonus.. Toward the end, the sleep anesthesia had completely worn off, and they were tearing and suturing raw flesh; even when I said it hurt, they did not give me anesthesia again..The director just kept getting angry at the nurses...It was the first time I felt that anxious during surgery.. Looking back now, even before surgery I had felt something was a little questionable while looking at the website photos: the nostril area after surgery looked strange..like it had been Photoshopped...It was probably Photoshop.. After that, my entire life stopped..I used to like meeting friends and dressing up prettily..but when I go out, I cannot leave the house without a hat and glasses..And then if I happen to see myself reflected in a mirror, I just come back home..and cry all day... I quit my job too..and broke up with my boyfriend..Actually, my boyfriend tried to be there for me and stay by my side, but I was so angry at myself and lost all confidence that I couldn't see him.. At least I occasionally see only one closest friend..I couldn't go home for Chuseok either because I was afraid my mom would cry..I probably won't be able to go for Lunar New Year either.. At first, I resented the doctors a lot too..especially the doctor who did the first procedure..How could someone who is a plastic surgeon make my face like this.. I regretted it a lot too..If only I could turn back time.. But it is already spilled water..Every day when I sleep, I dream..I cry because of my nose, then think, oh, this was all a dream, thank goodness...and wake up..but this is reality...That depression rising from the very bottom is something people who have not experienced it will not understand.. At some point, I developed severe depression and even suicidal impulses..I was so anxious and sad that I could not bear being alive for even a moment.. But now, two months after the last surgery..I have still recovered a little bit of stability.. Because I am Christian, I rely on God and pray a lot...but I am grateful that, as much as I lost, there are still parts I have not lost..I really like the book The Secret.. The idea that when people have gratitude and a positive heart, that energy comes back to them... So I try not to look in the mirror..I always try to think that I can return to my former face, and I try to be grateful for small things.. Now, once the scar tissue settles a little, I am planning revision surgery..and collecting various information..If I do it again, I plan to have it done at a revision rhinoplasty specialist, with silicone and about ear cartilage to project the columella and reposition the alar cartilage.. I got a lot of information here too..About a month ago, when I was having such a hard time because of my nose, I posted an online consultation at one of the clinics I had picked out for revision surgery, with an extremely long post..ㅎㅎ The doctor personally replies to comments..and he had written asking me to call him.. I called in a hurry, and as soon as we connected I was busy asking this and that...The doctor listened for a while.. Ms. ㅇㅇㅇ Yes? So you have had your nose done four times now? Although three were in a short period.. Yes.. You must have learned a lot from this, right? You probably realized that you have to put in effort..Of course online consultations and phone consultations are effort too..Where do you live? Seoul.. There are many people who come all the way to Seoul from other regions for consultations..When you do an online consultation, the doctor does not see the patient's face directly, so they answer based on rough guesses..Also, most posts are written by consultants, so they say it will go well.. Direct effort...going around to consultations in person is important..Go to the clinic where you had this surgery and ask them to print your pre-surgery photos large..Then go to clinics, show them to the doctor, and explain in detail..I am dissatisfied with this part and want to return like this..You cannot just go to one or two places. Go to as many as possible..It does not have to be our clinic..Each doctor will say different things..Something will probably start to become clear.. As much as you make effort, there will definitely be a path..It must be hard now, but if you make effort, there is a way..I hope things go well for you.. He spoke as if he was scolding me a little..but my eyes welled up..At first too, I didn't go around to consultations in person and only did things online, and it ended up like this, yet I am still a fool..But his words that if I make effort, there is a path gave me strength.. It has only been two months now..and the time I have to wait until another revision surgery feels bleak, but..I will slowly go to consultations..and choose well, safely and naturally.. You know the saying that dawn is darkest before sunrise..I know there are many people who are suffering like me because of plastic surgery..Right now I am in a long tunnel where no one can understand my heart, but I think this darkness may perhaps play a better role in the long life I still have ahead.. And to those who are considering plastic surgery..especially rhinoplasty..what I want to say is, do not be tempted by before-and-after photos..and do not be tempted by clinics that are famous online.. Your own in-person consultation work is important..Do not do it just because one doctor at one clinic tells you to do it this way..Go around to many places..There will probably be conscientious doctors who tell you that if you do it this way, these side effects could occur.. I do not think plastic surgery is unconditionally bad..I also gained confidence through plastic surgery..But if there is nothing greatly flawed about how you look now, please live with that natural and comfortable appearance..And especially for those who feel, I absolutely cannot live unless I fix this..For nose surgery, I hope you avoid methods that are too flashy or involve too much manipulation.. My older sister also had silicone with ear cartilage ten years ago and is still doing well now..The methods that have been used for that long are the safest.. For me, the costal cartilage strut is too hard and uncomfortable.. This post was too long, wasn't it..Even now, depression suddenly comes to me from time to time..but I will definitely be okay. So I will return to the bright person I used to be..and I want to live being grateful for the small everyday happinesses I could not feel back then.. I will pray that everyone who is depressed because plastic surgery went wrong will also do well..Everyone, please stay strong..
