I had double eyelid surgery with the buried suture method in Seoul yesterday, but I still feel like my eyes are uneven, and when I woke up this morning the swelling seemed even worse than on the day of surgery. I had it done under local anesthesia, but it really, really hurt so much that tears just kept streaming down, and I got about 5 injections in one eye. It hurt so much that I honestly regretted the double eyelid surgery I had been putting off for 5 years a little. The right eye didn’t hurt at all during surgery, but when they were doing the left eye, it felt like the anesthesia had worn off, and my muscles were being pulled, so it hurt a bit. The surgery took about 30 to 35 minutes. I’m drinking corn silk tea, pumpkin porridge, and red bean water. I’ll upload photos once things settle down a little more~ The first one is the day of surgery, and the second is the next day, after waking up.
