I had surgery with no implant for functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty: hypertrophic rhinitis, deviated septum, bulbous nose, hump nose, and nasal tip. Today is day 22, and a lot of the major swelling has gone down. From the side, I think the shape looks pretty, but the nasal tip is still hard, and from the front my nostrils look a bit more visible than before. They said I need to wait at least 6 months for all the swelling to go down, and as it does, the lifted nose will settle and become a more natural nose of my own, so I'm just waiting for now.. It will come down, right..?ㅠ But at first, I looked in the mirror and took side-profile photos and thought, wow, it turned out well.. but as time passes, everything makes me anxious. Recovery.. is going well, right..? If I accidentally bump it while washing my face and my nose keeps ringing and aching for a while, I think, ah.. is my nose going to get ruined?ㅠ They said it was okay to sleep lying down, so from around week 2 I've been sleeping lying down, though I still keep my upper body elevated. But when I wake up, I worry for no reason whether I touched it in my sleep, or whether turning my head only to one side will make it crooked later.. My runny nose has stopped, but my nasal mucous membrane is still swollen, so breathing feels stuffy. I worry whether the functional surgery went wrong. They took septal cartilage from the left side, so the left side of my columella and inside my nose are more swollen. I wonder when this will go down, and I'm scared it might never go down. When I touch slightly next to the left nasal tip, I feel a non-painful tingling sensation, like a booger is poking me, even though there's nothing there.. This is okay, right..? I'm just anxious about everything every single dayㅠ Did everyone else here feel like this too? Am I worrying too much because it's my first surgery?ㅠㅠ When I contact the consultant, she says it's okay^^ but it really is okay, right? I'm going to lose my mind during this recovery periodㅠㅠ
