When I look at my nose before surgery, honestly... it makes me embarrassed lol I had a short nose and bulbous nose, and I had surgery using donated costal cartilage. A bulbous nose is so obvious even from the front Mine was exactly like that... So my overall impression felt kind of blunt and stuffy? Every time I looked in the mirror, the stress was no joke.. My nasal tip was wide and my bridge was low too, so I wanted a somewhat flashy style, so I thought I should use costal cartilage. I wasn’t confident about autologous costal cartilage, so I chose donated costal cartilage... Honestly, I remember hesitating until the very end lololol Even after hearing the explanation, both autologous costal cartilage and donated costal cartilage had pros and cons, so it made me even more confused. Only people who’ve done it will know… I really thought a lot before deciding... I did it at D-Day, and the director recommended several different materials, but I was really set on a straight-to-semi-curved line lol so I just pushed ahead with costal cartilage haha But what do you think? It’s only been exactly 2 weeks, but the swelling has gone down quite a bit, and doesn’t the line look much slimmer too?? lololol My friends said it was the best thing I’ve ever done in my life lololol Since it was my first surgery, I was even more careful, but because I considered the shape the most important, the nasal tip was supported using both septal cartilage and donated costal cartilage, and the short-nose, bulbous-nose feeling seems totally cleaned up lol I got exactly the straight-to-semi-curved line I wanted, so I’m very satisfied now lololol I was really worried a lot about swelling, but it swelled less than I expected, so even I was surprised... Now when I take photos, I don’t have to worry about my nose, and when I wash my face, I don’t have to avoid touching my nose, so it’s super comfortable and nice lolol
