My orthodontic treatment is almost finished, but my recessed chin didn’t improve as much as I expected, so I decided to have it done. I had it under local anesthesia, not sedation, and it only hurt when the injection was given, then it was fine.. It’s exactly one week now, and almost all the swelling has gone down. I still feel quite a bit of foreign-body sensation. I had the stitches removed today, and the doctor said I was in the top 3%?;;;; He said it settled into place quickly, there was almost no swelling, and that I had taken good care of it, but all I did was eat pumpkin porridge for two days and gargle diligently People say something looks different, but they can’t quite pinpoint it- I had silicone, 6.5 mm. For reference.. the before photo was taken only about two weeks ago, and the after photo was taken yesterday (day 6). People say it’s a simple surgery, but after actually having it done, it’s not an extremely simple procedure like petit cosmetic procedures? so I don’t think it’s something to take too lightly.. Because of the fixation tape, it’s hard even to open your mouth for 4-5 days. Does it seem like I’ve changed a bit?; Still, now that I have a chin where there wasn’t one before, I’m fairly satisfied ㅠ_ㅠ
