I wasn’t someone with absolutely no nasal bridge, so I wasn’t going to put in silicone, but the consultant recommended it, saying that if it was made as thin as possible and inserted, it wouldn’t be noticeable, and that I would regret it if I didn’t put it in. So I kept debating until the day of surgery and eventually put it in. The shape after surgery wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the shape I had asked for. I wanted the nasal tip to come down a bit more Before surgery, they never said anything like that, but after surgery, they said that for women, the angle should be about this much... It wasn’t my aesthetic preference; they just did it according to their own aesthetic preference... When I was worried, they told me not to worry because it would gradually come down over time, but now, more than a year later, there was even a clinic that said it was surprising that it hadn’t come down even though it was done with ear cartilage. That’s how much it didn’t come down. So I kept living with the same concern that it looked short, and this time I finally booked a third clinic And the silicone, which I had put in because they said they would make it look natural, cost almost 600,000 won or so to remove. The end line of the silicone kept showing to my eyes, so it looked obvious. People around me would say things like, “Oh, you got your nasal bridge done,” because of that, even though the height hadn’t changed that much. Hearing that because of the silicone mark? really made me feel awful I regret it And the nasal tip felt short, but because of the silicone, somehow only the midface looked long...? I followed the clinic’s recommendation and it didn’t go well, so I only spent more money, got insanely stressed, and had it removed. I think this is a clinic where only people whose aesthetic sense matches well with the director should get surgery (people who want to lift the nasal tip short while making the before-and-after difference not too noticeable...?) I do think it varies by person, but when you look at reviews, incision-line issues come up from time to time. I also spent several hundred thousand won getting laser treatments a few times because the incised area here was indented and because of scar tissue on both sides, but I think I’ll just have to ask about it when I get revision surgery. The incision line has to be finished nicely for it to look natural and be less noticeable when seen from below Anyway, I hope you think it through carefully before getting surgery.
