After this surgery, cartilage inside my nose pierced through the mucous membrane and was protruding white. So the clinic said they would file it down and do an aftercare revision, so I had the procedure, but they cut the protruding part of the cartilage and made an additional wound in the surrounding mucous membrane so it could heal well. Because of that, the hole got bigger and the cartilage looks even whiter and more visible haha They say I need to wait a bit, and as the mucous membrane recovers and grows over it, it will heal. I guess time is the medicine. Ugh;;; right now the cartilage is so white and visible that I’m applying ointment and praying for the mucous membrane to grow;;; my mental state is crumbling Is there anyone who has had the same case as me? This really does recover, right! I just need to trust it and wait, right?!?! The photo is from before the aftercare revision.
