I went for consultations at ㄷㄷㅇ, ㅌㅋㄹㅅ, ㅁㅂ, and ㅁㅇㅌ lol Right now I’m debating between ㄷㄷㅇ vs ㅁㅇㅌ and which one would really suit me better. I went to ㄷㄷㅇ for my first consultation, and the consultant explained everything kindly and well. I think I’ll probably need to use costal cartilage, but they said the patient can choose between autologous costal cartilage and donated costal cartilage, so I’m torn. They said if I use autologous costal cartilage, I don’t have to worry too much about the scar, so I felt a little relieved. The director seemed busy, so not all my questions were answered, and that part was a bit disappointing. Still, it’s a place that gets mentioned a lot for nose surgery, so I think my expectations for the surgery are high. Then I went to ㅁㅇㅌ as the next clinic. My friend had bulbous nose + arrow nose surgery here and got good results, so it was a place I had high hopes for. In particular, they seem to support the nasal tip firmly and make the columella line look clean, so it might be just right for me? This place specializes in autologous costal cartilage, so it did feel like they strongly recommended autologous costal cartilage, which makes me think it over. Still, the director was kind and examined me thoroughly, so I think I trusted them. Has anyone here had surgery at either of these two places? Could you let me know if you’re satisfied??

랄랄 Who did you consult with at the first place? I had a pretty severe bulbous nose, so even though it was corrected during my first surgery, I wasn’t satisfied enough, so I had it redone there. It came out to the degree I wanted!

복코여신 I had surgery with autologous costal cartilage at ㅁㅇㅌ exactly one week ago. I’m satisfied with the surgery. I also chose this place because I liked that the director was very thorough. I went for a consultation at ㄷㄷㅇ too (Kim ㅌㅅ), but they looked at me too casually, so I ruled that place out early. It was my first surgery, but I just wanted to finish it in one go, so I did autologous costal cartilage. They said with donated costal cartilage, the nasal tip sags after 2-3 years. I’m going to get my splint removed today, and I plan to post a review after I come back.
