Only the parts marked with red boxes are after surgery^^ I had a square jaw, and my chin was straight across, so it looked angular ㅜ So I had contouring surgery where they shaved the square jaw and also shaved down the angular parts on both ends of my chin. Today is day 12. On day 8, I went to get the stitches removed, but the area around the nerves in my chin hurt so, so much ㅜ Maybe because I made such a fuss, they couldn’t remove them all.. So today I went back and had all 3 that they couldn’t remove taken out. Today I went to the hospital, took X-ray photos, and also checked whether the surgery went well haha The square jaw is gone, and the angles in my chin are gone too! The major swelling has all gone down now, and there is still some minor swelling left, but my impression looks much softer and better than before. For now, since the angles are gone ㅜㅜ I’m so happy. They said not to brush my teeth just for today and tomorrow, and starting the day after tomorrow, I can put toothpaste on and brush too lol +) Additional update It’s finally been about 15 days after surgery~ At first, the swelling was so tight and puffy that I thought it would never go down, but now only minor swelling is left.. I uploaded side-view photos too so you can see the minor swelling. I guess the swelling moves down from top to bottom..ㅠ The jawline is visible at the top, but there is swelling in the lower jaw, so the jawline doesn’t show well.. It still feels awkward because of the minor swelling.. When on earth does minor swelling go down? ㅠㅠ Still, I’m really happy that the angles are properly gone! Um, what’s uncomfortable now is.. Eating is all fine.. I can even eat kimchi now. But I still have no sensation in the lower jaw area, so I don’t even know if grains of rice are stuck there.. And when I laugh!! Smiling is okay, but when I laugh showing my teeth, it feels awkward.. When I talk too, the lower lip area doesn’t move well, so it feels awkward.. And the stitched area is hard, so it’s uncomfortable.. I hope the uncomfortable things get better quickly, and that sensation comes back quickly.. Everyone, let’s keep it up, fighting~!!
