Those considering jaw surgery, please think about this before getting plastic surgery.

I had surgery on my side jaw, front chin, and paranasal augmentation on 8/31.... It's been a month now, but my mouth still doesn't open all the way. Only about the front parts of two fingers can fit in? Today I tried to eat gimbap, and I was shocked because even a piece of gimbap laid horizontally wouldn't fit into my mouth. Cherry tomatoes and bananas obviously don't fit either. I have to cut all food into tiny pieces to eat it. My jaw doesn't hurt, but it won't open. I asked a close older friend who had jaw surgery, and she said it gradually opens a little more, but it doesn't open fully like before surgery and only comes back about 80-90%. I had no idea about this part at all. She says even now, her mouth doesn't open like it used to, and if she opens it wide, her jaw feels stiff. It has been 6 years.... Well..... and. Since there are many adults here, I'm saying this. It can also have a bit of an effect(?) on relations with a boyfriend. I'll leave why to your imagination.... Anyway. It was a surgery I had been thinking about for 7 years.... I had no idea that jaw surgery would cause this kind of inconvenience. It wasn't as painful a surgery as I had imagined, and aside from the swelling going down being difficult, the rest is bearable. But........ a slight bit of loose skin remains under the front chin like a double chin (you can tell from the side), and my mouth may not open like it used to. These are the symptoms after jaw surgery that I've discovered so far. Well........ these are things I wasn't mentally prepared for, but I can accept them; I just hope no bigger problems appear.
