Escaping a bulbous nose) My innocent, doll-like nose

After agonizing over it for years, I finally had my first rhinoplasty, and the result is... a success!!!ㅠㅠ I wrote this review with sincere gratitude to Director Lee Ju-cheol (+and to all the staff at the plastic surgery clinic) Anyway, it’s long, but please read it to the end >3< +For reference, I’m not an employee of the clinic, just someone who wanted bulbous nose correction (definitely not a broker or a liar!!) +The review photos are unedited before/after photos (self-mosaicked) [Criteria for choosing the hospital] My wide, bulbous nose was really stressful for me. So when I was researching online, I absolutely focused on clinics with pretty “front-view results” and many dramatic bulbous nose correction reviews, and narrowed down the places I would visit for consultations. Among them, Director Lee Ju-cheol’s work was No. 1 for pretty front-view results by my standards, so I was counting the days until my consultation at the clinic. Director Lee is known for natural + elegantly glamorous lines, but since I was already satisfied with my side profile, I chose the clinic mainly based on the front view. [Consultation review] Director: I’m someone who knows exactly what aesthetic I’m pursuing (my improvement goal). During the first consultation, I told him my desired aesthetic/shape, and the director thought deeply about it. He looked like he was “mobilizing all the knowledge in his head to find the optimal way to create this patient’s desired aesthetic.” It kind of felt like Doctor Strange in Marvel’s Endgame haha. Director Lee Ju-cheol feels like a very professional “book” (+with lots of sweetness added) So I thought, “This is the place!” and booked that same day. After consulting with the director, I somehow felt sure that Director Lee would be able to correct my nose properly. My specific concerns were the puffy, spread-out nasal tip area and my wide nostrils. So I decided to have bulbous nose correction and nostril reduction. I also liked the height of my natural nose, so I didn’t really want to raise the bridge. We decided not to use silicone or costal cartilage. (implant-free rhinoplasty) Director Lee puts the patient’s needs first, so he did not force any unnecessary procedures. It seemed like he believes that if any surgery does not match the patient’s desired aesthetic, it is better not to do it. Consultant: Before meeting the director, I had a consultation with the consultant, and while looking at photos of my face, she understood exactly what my concerns were. The consultant was also kind, and because I like a natural look, she did not recommend excessive procedures. Whenever I asked about things I was curious about, she always answered kindly and accurately, so thanks to her, I was not very worried before surgery. And the consultant’s personality was really, really great. She had the kind of personality where when she smiled brightly, it made me feel good too! [Day of surgery] Director Lee is really kind, but after entering the operating room, in moments that required seriousness (like marking the lines), his very serious demeanor felt really trustworthy and reassuring from a patient’s perspective. All the staff in the operating room: When I entered the operating room, all the staff there were also so, so kind. I’m very easily scared and I also get colder than most people, so it was hard to find a vein for the injection needle, but they helped me relax and warmed me up, so I felt much less nervous. Once I lay down on the operating table, I was nervous and trembling, but I kept asking questions like a curious person, and they explained everything carefully and kindly. I thought, when I get a job, I should become someone as kind as that haha Anesthesia felt like gently drifting off to sleep. It did not feel like riding a roller coaster. [Before removing the splint - one week after surgery] On the day of surgery, surprisingly, there wasn’t much pain. But during the week I had the splint on, there was a mild lingering pain. My nose felt tingly, my ears numb, my forehead warm, and my eyes felt dazed? I took my medication well and diligently used ice packs, so it didn’t hurt badly, but it was frustrating that I couldn’t scratch when my nose was itchy. I thought it was better that there was no real pain and it was only itchy. There was really no swelling. When others swell 100, I only swelled about 20, so it was really fascinating. [After removing the splint] Honestly, it came out exactly in the shape I truly wanted. People who have had plastic surgery will know what a huge stroke of luck that isㅜㅜ The front view in particular is unbelievably pretty!!! You really have to see it in person~~~ㅠㅠㅠ He raised the nose height naturally, just enough to correct the bulbous nose. They said the materials used were ear cartilage (for height) and septal cartilage (for support). I didn’t even mention the columella, but he had the sense to make it pretty too! My natural nose had a slightly pinched line, and he got rid of that as well. My left nostril used to be wider, so I was stressed about the asymmetry, but he made the nostril reduction perfectly symmetrical. If you look at my review photos, it’s seriously amazing ㄷㄷ As expected, his aesthetic sense is really good, and I’m so glad his aesthetic sense matches mine very well. I don’t regret my choice. I’m sincerely happy <3 Even just go for a consultation; Director Lee is truly serious about surgery..!!!!!!! [Additional notes] 1. Sensible cooling pack It’s not the common pink cooling pack everyone knows. I froze it in the freezer and used it cold, but even after freezing it for a long time, it didn’t become rock-hard, so it didn’t irritate the area around my nose. With the common pink cooling packs, no matter how much I wrapped them in a towel, they were too hard and difficult to use for cold compresses, but the clinic’s cooling pack has just the right durability and thickness, so I think I’ll use it well for a long time. 2. Clinic goods?! This is TMI, but maybe because the director has good aesthetic taste, the shopping bag and mirror color were pretty too haha. The logo mirror they gave me is totally merchㅠㅠ I love stuff like merch so much >3< 3. +2-week review Thanks to Director Lee’s meticulous technique, it has only been 2 weeks, but the incision scar from the nostril reduction is not noticeable at all. The columella incision scar is gradually becoming lighter. Amazing!! After removing the splint, I swelled a bit more, but I can clearly see that the bulbous nose has been corrected. Once the swelling goes down, it will become slimmer, so I’m looking forward to it :) My best friend was also happy and said my rhinoplasty turned out so well! Maybe because the bulbous nose was clearly corrected, my friend says my face looks more innocent and I look like I lost weight heheh [P.S.
