I had surgery on the 31st. I think I underestimated it too much. Since I had done my nose before, I think I was too complacent, thinking that because I had undergone plastic surgery once, jaw surgery would just be something where I had to endure a little pain. Before surgery, I set aside a whole day and searched through surgery reviews and surgery Q&As, studying everything, but I guess the real thing is different after all. As soon as I woke up from anesthesia, ah... I was writhing in misery, and one minute felt like one hour. Is it just me? Personally, I want to give awards to everyone who has had this surgery. If anyone says things like plastic beauty or whatever, I will confidently say something back. Have you ever endured even that kind of time of pain while craving something? Other people seemed to get through it bravely, so I reassured myself that I would too, but why am I like this ...ㅜ.ㅡ This feels 20 times harder than nose surgery!!!! I had V-line surgery. Maybe it is because I did the front chin together rather than just doing the jaw... but it was much more distressing than I had thought. Rather than painful... I could not breathe... could not sleep, it throbbed... It was like that overall. It does not hurt. They give you a pain-control injection... But for some reason, overall it is miserable. I also have a bit of rhinitis, and I had cold symptoms that day, so my nose kept bleeding endlessly... With a nosebleed and sore throat (I had a drainage tube in...) I could not breathe properly... and could not sleep. My face... really looked like one pufferfish. When I looked in the mirror it was so funny that after that I did not look in the mirror either. If I laugh, my jaw tinglesㅋㅋㅋ Next to me, my mom kept saying my face was so cute and asking how a human could possibly swell this much, while taking photos...ㅡ,.ㅜ Seeing that I am giggling while writing this, I must have recovered a bit. On the actual day of surgery, everything is bothersome. I thought I might be bored, so I brought my Nintendo and other things... but forget Nintendo... I did not even want to watch TV. When your body is suffering, you do not feel like doing anything. I did not sleep a wink and walked here and there around the hospital hallway... and just sat endlessly in a chair. My mom slept in the bed...ㅡ,.ㅡ At least my mom took care of me, so I managed to endure it somehow... But if anyone is going to do V-line surgery... I think it would be a bit hard alone. If I had done it alone, I think it would have been mentally hard rather than hard because of the pain. The one fortunate thing is that I did not have anesthesia side effects... (vomiting, nausea, dizziness, etc.) I did feel slightly dizzy, but it was bearable. I walked around as soon as I woke up. To the point where the nurse begged me to please go stay in the hospital room ㅡ,.ㅡ; The nurse was so cold that my mom and I cursed a littleㅋㅋㅋㅋ I still look like a pufferfish wrapped in bandages, so I do not know whether the surgery went well or not, but I can tell that my front chin has become short as if it disappeared. Humans are so fickle, now I am worrying whether they cut it too drastically... wow... It really seems like my mind was different when I went into the operating room and when I came out. When I went into the operating room, I just wished I would safely survive and open my eyes... that was how I feltㅎㅎㅎ~~ It still feels a bit awkward to give hospital information. After a month passes, if I am satisfied, then I will post another review. I received help here from surgery reviews and such, so after getting surgery myself, I felt I could not not write one. And those who had V-line surgery... isn’t eating uncomfortable? Since I cannot move my front chin, even when I drink water it dribbles... my throat hurts, so I choke and cough... I cannot swallow porridge-like foods either and cough...ㅡ,ㅜ Is it just me? Around when does the sore throat go away...ㅜ.ㅡ I am starving to death... the cut jaw is throbbing to death... because it hurts, I cannot even think about hunger, and I just keep thinking I wish it would not hurt... Because of phlegm and nasal congestion, it is really, really miserable. There is a limit to drinking hot water too..ㅜ.ㅡ If I had known it would be this hard, I even think I should have just lived as I was. They say from day 4 onward it becomes a bit livable... When will I be able to escape this misery?
