This post is written because there are almost no postoperative reviews of hollow-eye surgery in this community, so I wrote it hoping it might help. <Trigger> At a 45-degree view of my face, the distance from the eye corner to the temple was long. Because my job is sensitive to what appears on screen, I had hollow-eye surgery with a feeling like grabbing at any straw. (Hollow-eye surgery does not guarantee that the 45-degree angle will improve. I only thought, as my personal view, that “hollow eyes may be one part of the cause of deep-set eyes”) (Brow-bone shaving surgery and cheekbone redone surgery are also planned.) <Procedure> I heard there are two methods. One is using an implant, and the other is fat transfer. Implants are said to cost more and use a material similar to bone, but I did not know much about it, and since my case was not severe, I proceeded with fat grafting. <Pain> It was done under sedation anesthesia, so there was no pain. After it was over, I had diplopia for about a day. The next day I was okay, but I could see blood in the white of my eyes. There was also swelling under the eyes. Maybe because I can tolerate pain very well? I did not have pain. If I compare roughly, Laser treatment < hollow-eye surgery < InMode, Thermage < Juvelook Volume < Rejuvan Hiller About this level? For about 1 week, it only felt like I had a sensation that my eyes might pop out. <Effect> By the 3rd week, my eyes look much bigger and clearer than before. Still, because of swelling there is also a frog-eye feeling, and I hope the fat is still there and takes well instead of all being absorbed. <Cost> If you have fat grafting, even up to the second procedure it is similarly the 400 range. <Swelling> I had surgery about 3 weeks ago, so the swelling lasted longer than expected. Probably this happened because I did not manage my condition well after surgery and kept traveling by plane. It became urgent, and only the left eye still had swelling that would not go down and felt like a hard lump, so I asked the hospital for help. They gave me care for about a week. Thanks to the good care, now the swelling is gradually going down. The area where swelling has gone down feels slightly like a three-white-eye appearance, but over time it seems to be settling and does not seem to be a problem. I think I miscalculated the swelling period, so the delay is partly my fault, but they helped me as much as possible so I could return quickly, and I was very grateful.
