My face is slim, but as I’ve gotten middle-aged, the fat on both sides of my jaw has started to sag a bit. So-called bulldog cheeks? So I got AccuLift. Right after the surgery, my face looked like a steamed bun. I live outside Seoul, but I went to Gangnam to have it done. But during the two hours it took to get home, almost all the swelling went down. When I woke up the next day, my face had returned to my original face. That day I went back to the hospital again, got disinfection and radiofrequency care, and came back. On the 3rd day, when I took off the small tape they had put under my chin, amazingly there wasn’t even any wound or bruising. Only a very tiny needle mark. Even that was barely noticeable. Other people say the swelling lasts a month and so on, but for me it actually felt strange. That hospital said swelling is severe only on the day of surgery, and from two or three days afterward it goes way down. The problem is that there still isn’t any noticeable effect. Is it because it’s only been 3 days? They clearly removed fat, but I don’t understand why the sagging skin is still the same. Shouldn’t the effect show once the swelling goes down..? I’m worried that maybe I just wasted money for nothing.
