Does revision rhinoplasty absolutely have to be done with autologous or donated costal cartilage..? I really prefer and want a very high, witch-like nose, but would that be too much with silicone I have a small nose. The clinics I've looked into are The Door and AB.. The place I'm somewhat drawn to because of the reviews is The Door, but The Door seems like it costs a lot.. My possible budget is around 5 million won. Is there a clinic where I could get surgery for the high nose I want with 5 million won?
청명 Not necessarily. I had my revision done with ear cartilage. But for a very high witch-like nose?.. You’d probably need silicone + costal cartilage
민주라기 [@Cheongmyeong] Do I absolutely need to have costal cartilage?!!! Is there maybe no clinic that can do a glamorous revision within the 5 million won range.?
청명 [@Minjuragi] Ear cartilage tends to droop a bit easily.. But if you use costal cartilage, it’ll definitely go over 5 million won, and if it’s revision surgery + autologous costal cartilage on top of that, it’ll be much more expensive..
익명 I had autologous costal cartilage for my first surgery, but it drooped, so I’ve scheduled a consultation.. I really think it just depends on the person
민주라기 [@] Oh wow.. Can autologous cartilage droop too? I’m picking up new information… With noses, I’m not sure about a third surgery, but I feel like a revision is really essential
익명 [@Minjuragi] I wanted to finish it in one surgery, so I didn’t even use donated costal cartilage and used autologous costal cartilage... I don’t think using costal cartilage guarantees it won’t droop
아뇨 As for the price range, it’s definitely something you only know after going in, so I think it would be good to get consultations first.. Revision rhinoplasty doesn’t always require costal cartilage, so,, take a look at Gift
고소미고소깡 Since it’s a revision and I used septal cartilage and ear cartilage in my first surgery, I’m thinking about costal cartilage this time... The cost burden really does feel realistic For now I’m narrowing things down while looking at review photos from places like AB and Made Young, but I hope it’s reasonable enough that I won’t gasp if the estimate comes out huge later. I’m not sure
가나디특공대 First, go to all the places you’ve looked into and ask. The cost changes depending on the condition of your nose I’m also a revision case, so I’m thinking about costal cartilage
룩삼 Take a look at Lowell. It’s a private clinic and they don’t charge additional fees
dooooo Nabi, this place is still on the cheaper side. With 5 million won, if it's revision using costal cartilage, it could go a bit higher.
희희 It doesn't absolutely have to be costal cartilage, but if what you want is a dramatic look, using costal cartilage is right, and you don't use silicone for the nasal tip... If you want something very high, aside from the cost, I think going to The Door makes sense..
채랭 Donated costal cartilage is fine too~ It doesn't seem like it necessarily has to be autologous costal cartilage.
