For my first surgery, I wanted correction of a deviated nose, and the materials used were autologous costal cartilage + silicone The correction failed, and when I went for revision surgery consultations, the material recommended then was also autologous costal cartilage I was also quoted for osteotomy, and I only went to these three places: O&Young, RU, and Byeol. I’m personally not the type who can just squeeze out time in my schedule... Still, I was satisfied with the consultations themselves. The directors had handled a lot of noses, and although each director had differences in surgical style regarding how they use autologous costal cartilage, they all answered everything I was curious about without making it uncomfortable, so I was like, I see,, and had the consultations.. I wondered if it didn’t improve because I didn’t have osteotomy during my first nose surgery, but I guess that’s not necessarily the case?
