I had nose surgery several decades ago. A high nasal bridge + a pinched, pointed nasal tip, and an excessive design that did not suit my face led me to decide on revision rhinoplasty. However, the result of the revision rhinoplasty was contracture caused by implant-related side effects, and after spending 6-7 months in pain, I ended up undergoing a third revision surgery again. I knew that revision surgery for a contracted nose was not an easy procedure, but because I was young and did not have the money for surgery, I continued having it done at the same hospital. I wanted to completely return to my old nose, but the already shortened nasal length remained, and the disappeared columella, upturned nose, nasal-tip scar... there was no major change. Because of emotional scars, wasted time, disappointment, and so on, I no longer had the courage to get back on the operating table. For several years, I lived as if I had just left my nose alone after all the disappointment and hurt I had already gone through. It was a hospital I really liked. After making a consultation appointment and visiting, I scheduled surgery quickly. After the surgery, my nose, which had remained a complex for me all along, has now become the prettiest nose in my own heart. I do not feel afraid when I look in the mirror, and I do not know how many years it has been since I felt happy about it. I am grateful to Director Kim Hyun-joo. Thanks to the manager’s response and consultation, and the director’s treatment and surgical skill, I am now living with satisfaction. I was told that once the swelling goes down, the shape will become even better, so I am waiting with peace of mind.
