When I look at my right nostril, it looks like something is protruding, and because of that my nostrils also look asymmetrical,, I’m wondering if it’s a side effect or just swelling,,
I’m on day 12 after surgery, and this was my first surgery. I had my hump shaved down and, without an implant, had the nasal tip lifted using septal cartilage and ear cartilage. I didn’t use silicone.
When I had a CT scan, they said my nose was slightly crooked, so my nasal septum was also deviated, but that it wasn’t severe enough to be a problem, you know? So I didn’t have crooked-nose correction. (Because I have pretty severe facial asymmetry in other areas too, I thought it would look strange if only my nose was corrected.) And it didn’t look severe enough to correct either.
When I searched, some people said it’s a swollen mucous membrane, and others said it’s cartilage protruding, but I don’t know what’s actually trueㅠㅜㅜ I didn’t have any discomfort, but maybe because I keep being conscious of it, it also feels like I can’t breathe well through my right nostril,,, Has anyone here had a similar experience to me??
